Julian.s Posted May 20, 2014 Share #1 Posted May 20, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just announcing myself. I got my father's leica M4 P after he died 10 years ago. To my shame I didn't do anything with it until last month. Part of the reason was not having a light meter. Then I got given one. So I had no reason not to give it a go. Shot my first roll of b/w film and sent it off to be developed. All I can say is WOW! And it wasn't even proper b/w, it was c41 film. I am now a confirmed Leica convert. Love the camera, love the rangefinder, love the results. Love the whole process. It's so good to have a camera that does exactly what you tell it. wda Posted May 20, 2014 Share #2 Posted May 20, 2014 Julian, welcome to the forum and Leica ownership. I am pleased you are giving this fine camera good use once again. You have the added advantage of knowing its providence and probably can recall the pleasure it gave your father. Enjoy!
