pauledell Posted May 5, 2014 Share #2 Â Posted May 5, 2014 Neil, Â Nice tones and sharpness. I notice a horizontal line across each picture. Are those scratches on the negative? Â Paul
NJH Posted May 5, 2014 Author Share #3 Â Posted May 5, 2014 Sadly it does indeed look like a mar across the middle of several frames, its much more noticeable on the full size scans. Its not really a scratch as it looks like a thin band at a different brightness level to the surrounding area. I couldn't think of an easy way to remove it in photoshop so left it there, one of those things unfortunately with film I guess and unusual in that previously a roll of Acros I had dev+scan by the lab came back perfectly clean on all but one or two frames with minor dust in the scan. NJH Posted May 10, 2014 Author Share #4  Posted May 10, 2014 Following an observation made on Flickr I have edited one of those above to make the background less distracting.  Orchid_v2_Acros by Neil Haughey - NJH, on Flickr  Do you like what I did?  Neil
