sanqhar Posted April 27, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted April 27, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have always had a problem with this sort of thing. More by luck than judgement I have managed to resize the image in Photoshop. Hope I can repeat it again sometime. This was taken with my little gem today. sanqhar Posted April 27, 2007 Author Share #4 Â Posted April 27, 2007 I now have to sort out the quality issue!! Â How do I do that?
Guest sirvine Posted April 27, 2007 Share #5 Â Posted April 27, 2007 Save the image as a JPG, and choose the highest quality. I find that constraining the dimensions to 700 x 500 pixels is usually under the maximum file size limit for this board.
sanqhar Posted April 28, 2007 Author Share #6 Â Posted April 28, 2007 Now this time I deselected "resample image" on the resize menu, then set the width to 10cm. File size came out at 224 k

Hope I can repeat it again sometime. This was taken with my little gem today. Â Hi Tom, Max image size is 960x640 pixels and 240kb. In Photoshop, I usually resize the photo as the last step in processing, to around 800 pixels wide (just my preference) and then use the File>Save For Web function to set the maximum quality available for the 240kb forum limit. best-John
rob_x2004 Posted April 29, 2007 Share #10 Â Posted April 29, 2007 Tom there are two separate issues. Image size in pixels, and file size. Will pm you if that helps.
