Hello everyone.

 

My first post might be in the wrong area, but here is my question:

 

I have a Leica M4-P, Jupiter-8 and Jupiter-12, plus Leicameter MC, and also (soon) a Leica IIIc (converted to IIIf).

 

I have a Leicawinder for the M4-P, which is a great wee device, but what isn't so good is the audible 'clatter' when it is in use. I've read various online articles, and have sent it to be looked at. One intrepid repairer said it was an 'electrical' fault (it isn't), so I made a call to Leica services, who said this doesn't affect the camera. They are the guys to ask, after all.

 

Has anybody else on the forum had this issue and/or has it had any effect on their camera?
