spylaw4 Posted April 25, 2014 Share #3 Â Posted April 25, 2014 It's the one major thing I don't like about the T. It is not currently possible to use any other strap! Not without serious modification to the connector so that the more usual split ring type can be fitted. Bang goes my favourite A&A silk ropes! Grrrr! I really hope a manufacturer makes a special fitting! And soon!
algrove Posted April 26, 2014 Share #4 Â Posted April 26, 2014 In the meantime I will try to see if Gordy can make a leather overlay for at least the neck area.

I don't think they liked us sticking the Olympus EVF on the M so have started making it so you can only use their accessories

I don't think they liked us sticking the Olympus EVF on the M so have started making it so you can only use their accessories  Sounds entirely feasible David. And from David Farkas' review it seems Leica may well have patented the strap fixing. Not that has stopped certain easten friends in the past perhaps?  Methinks it's a case of buy one and alter it. But at the very least they need to make a longer version so that one can wear the camera diagonally across the body which is better in less salubrious parts of the world!  Having just spent an hour or so trying out the T in various places, the strap has a good amount of give in ti, but it certainly will not do in hot humid climates where I do quite a lot of photography. Hence the A&A silk rope.
