FMB Posted April 26, 2007 Share #1 Posted April 26, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all As the M8 camera has revealed an extraordinary capacity to extract Leica lenses juice, I’m asking myself if still we will be able to do more… I’ve been reading all the comments of the threat My-75mm-f2-cron-has-arrived (Fotomiguel), and I’ve seen David Farkas’ portrait. It’s astonishing sharp. I’m thinking if, since we all are talking about Leica M8 as a medium format camera, we also are lousing part of its capabilities. I’m referring to how frequently we forget two means to achieve sharpness: the use of a tripod and a good calculation of the right DOF necessary to the results we want. After that introduction I’m asking all of you, how do you estimate both weight in the quality of a good picture? Francisco.
