At the Zenfolio site linked below are two new galleries, based on a trip that took me to Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Monument Valley, and the Grand Canyon. I went there on a project not directly related to photography, but while I was there, took a few pictures ;-)

Some know that my M8 died on me halfway through, and I had to get a second one sent to me in Moab. I am now back and about to send the dead one to Leica. I'll report in when I know definitively, but rather than the usual Sudden Death Syndrom, it is possible sand got in the shutter. Will know soon.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy these two galleries. It's beautiful country out there...JB

Peter - what happened was very similar to all of reports of electronic/battery Sudden Death Syndrom: I could take pictures, but couldn't review them, nor access any menus. The difference, however, was that I also had a sudden inability to get the shutter to engage when pressing down on it lightly. It felt stiff, and any pressure on it and I would take a shot. So the camera still took pictures, but didn't really "work." Leica is going to have to figure it out....
