bephoto Posted April 18, 2014 Share #1 Posted April 18, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) One might argue Leica M is not suitable for serious product photography jobs. I started fooling around with M, a novoflex castel and Omega Moonwatch Hesalite. here is the result and I have to say working with M240 raw files for product shot is sweet, tons of information to move around it almost feels like working with a Hasselblad. everything except the moon obviously

bephoto Posted April 19, 2014 Author Share #4 Posted April 19, 2014 50 Summilux ASPH @f/16 extended with 16469 + Novoflex Castel-Q for focusing 100Pull ISO and for some weird reason the camera recognized 16469 as Tri-elmar!!! Watch wasn't mine a client brought it over for an ad it was beautiful I have 100ame but out of curiosity wanted it to be 100% M system shot (some say M sys is not capable bla bla...). I usually use tilt-shift with Hasselblad Zeiss lenses on M which give superb results also. photo above does not have any bracketing for highlights all info recovered from the same shot. great sensor and great dynamic range, thank u CMOSIS. Herr Barnack Posted April 25, 2014 Share #6 Posted April 25, 2014 Your Omega watch image proves that there is no reason to not use an M240 for product photography!
