finger loops

Hi All

I had a play with a medium size finger loop attached to my mfg it felt great but just a little tight to remove the store did not have a large one to compare it with does anyone know what the dimensions of the loops are All I can find is that they make them in small medium and large.

I bought the medium and then decided to also get the large for those times either when my hands are a bit swollen due to high temps and/or when I might wear very thin gloves during cold weather.

Not sure what camera you tried the loop with, but with the XV, which uses the same product, only the large loop allowed two fingers to pass through the loop. Then I found it awkward to remove without using two hands. So, in the absence of a an XL version, I gave up.

 

I did publish the dimensions somewhere on the forum a few weeks ago. Try searching. Failing that pm me and I will search through my unpublished archive notes for you.

 

I believe you must try before you buy and not be surprised if you find them too tight and rather restricting. They are well made as they should be for the price.

A call to one of the Leica stores might get you the dimensions, the nice people at the Leica Store L.A. are very generous with their help whenever I have asked. Btw - this will be my preferred store for purchase of lenses, they will allow testing of the lens in the store prior to purchase.

thanks guys I tried it on my m with mfg but I take the point if one is wearing gloves the medium would not work. I will do a search and see if I can find the thread
