hankg Posted April 25, 2007 Share #1 Posted April 25, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) It is my understanding that for Phase One backs C1 has a feature that allows users to shoot a frame with white plexi and then use the LCC feature in C1 to correct color cast shifts that occur on the edges of the frame when using wide lenses with Phase backs. Once you have calibrated the correction for the lens it can be applied to all shots from that lens. I do not see this LCC feature in C1 pro on MAC or PC but this would provide an efficient post-processing solution for cyan drift if Phase could make the feature available for the M8/DSLR version of C1. dhoelscher Posted April 25, 2007 Share #2 Posted April 25, 2007 This has been discussed quite awhile back (in November, I think) ... It's true that Phase One implemented this feature in C1, but only for files from their digital backs ... it has been rumored (from reliable usual sources) that the much delayed new 4.0 version of C1 will have this feature enabled for the rest of us ... then we can use the white plexiglas approach for cyan drift (yeah!) ...
