Synergist Posted April 1, 2014 Share #1 Â Posted April 1, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) The EVF Brightness and Color Management options aren't accessible on my XV. Â Have tried with and without the Leica EVF 2 attached but it stays greyed out. Â All other menu options are working as they should. Am I missing something obvious? Â Thanks. dunos Posted April 1, 2014 Share #2 Â Posted April 1, 2014 You need to attach the EVF, turn the camera on, set the setting so that the main menu is visible through the EVF rather than the screen on the camera. Then turn on the EVF (button on the EVF) , press the menu button on the camera, look through the EVF and you should be able to access the controls that were greyed out (notice how the controls for the camera's screen are now greyed out). There wasn't an option to select the EVF before switching the EVF button on,as you mentioned, I think the X1 did for the OVF but my XV doesn't. Anyhow, all is working as it should now.
