Orient XI Posted March 30, 2014 Share #1 Posted March 30, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Both the first and second editions of the late Dennis Laney's Leica Collector's Guide seem to imply that colour correction filters for use with colour film were only made and distributed by Leitz' New York agency. I have just such an E58 skylight filter engraved "E.Leitz NY SL". I recently purchased similar E39 filter engraved on opposite sides of the front ring "CR1.5 GERMANY" and "ERNST LEITZ WETZLAR". Does anybody know of other such filters made in Wetzlar? If so, were any codes allocated to these filters? Welcome, dear visitor!
