tmldds Posted March 22, 2014 Share #1 Â Posted March 22, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Setting is "single" shot but it keeps on shooting continuously. I tried removing the battery and any way I could think of, but could not resolve issue. Any idea?
Advertisement Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Hi tmldds, Take a look here XVario stuck in continuous mode. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
wda Posted March 22, 2014 Share #2 Â Posted March 22, 2014 There is usually a way to restore factory settings. Explore that option. I presume you have tried moving the switch selector several times between settings; powered down and switched on again?
waloszek Posted March 22, 2014 Share #3 Â Posted March 22, 2014 There may as well be a mechanical/electrical problem with the main switch. In that case you would have to send the camera to Leica for repair. Best regards, Gerd

wda Posted March 22, 2014 Share #5 Â Posted March 22, 2014 Tri, I am pleased that action worked out for you. I have never needed it, but it useful to know that it is there when all other remedial measures fail to solve a problem.
waloszek Posted March 22, 2014 Share #6 Â Posted March 22, 2014 I am also relieved that this was a software issue that could be remedied by a system reset. Best regards, Gerd
2wk Posted March 23, 2014 Share #7 Â Posted March 23, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have been noticing that mine gets stuck sometimes in continuous. I will be shooting with the flash, then bump it into C, and that's when I notice the flash stops working. I then switch it to S, but it remains in continuous mode. Switching it off and on has been fixing it, but it is kind if annoying.
wda Posted March 23, 2014 Share #8 Â Posted March 23, 2014 Let us hope that Leica will fix it with a firmware update.
firoze Posted March 27, 2014 Share #9 Â Posted March 27, 2014 David, I took your advice and restored the factory setting and voila! Thanks a bunch! Â Could you please explain how to restore to factory settings? Is this the same as setting the camera to "Default Settings" in the User Profile menu? waloszek Posted March 27, 2014 Share #10  Posted March 27, 2014 I just had a look into the manual. It states:  RESETTING ALL MENU SETTINGS TO THE FACTORY DEFAULTS: Select User Profile in the menu, and Default profile in the submenu Note: When resetting to the factory default settings, your settings for the date, time and language are not reset  So, I would conclude that both are indeed the same.  Best regards, Gerd
