Peyton Hoge Posted April 23, 2007 Share #1 Posted April 23, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Has anyone else experienced the photo forum being slower than usual? Everything on my computer seems to run normal (fast), but the photo forum seems to be much slower than usual. In viewing pictures, they load quite slowly, and they use to load instantly. bill Posted April 23, 2007 Share #2 Posted April 23, 2007 I suspect that everyone has been using longer shutter speeds than usual... Regards, Bill
wda Posted April 23, 2007 Share #3 Posted April 23, 2007 Picture size often plays a part but also the volume of traffic which you cannot see. David
elansprint72 Posted April 23, 2007 Share #4 Posted April 23, 2007 Peyton, Yes, me too. It's been like this for maybe a week to 10 days; everything else on my PC seems to be running at normal speed. I suspect that we have the dreaded M8 virus.
rob_x2004 Posted April 24, 2007 Share #5 Posted April 24, 2007 Sometimes everything comes together to form a nightmare. The scrolling ads, user numbers, my connection, then some idiot links 1000k image just because he thinks 1000k at 960x shows his M8 images off better on a computer screen than the 240k the can post. MrEd Posted April 24, 2007 Share #6 Posted April 24, 2007 Sometimes it gets VERY slow due to the fact that my finger is refusing to press the left side of the mouse to keep going......it's too depressing........http://www.leica-camera-user.com/images/smilies/wink.gif . rob_x2004 Posted April 24, 2007 Share #7 Posted April 24, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Ed you have to learn to embed that link as an image, not link the image. Then you can post it large enough to blow peoples minds before they rumble what is going on;).
