junior Posted February 22, 2014 Share #1 Posted February 22, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) hi everybody, i've asked this in the german forum, still waiting for answer, so please excuse my impatience: anybody using the H adapter? i bought mine today, put on the 150 HC and was surpised about the odd clicks the lens is all of a sudden producing, once the S2 is switched to central shutter. to be exact, i encounter another two additional clicks, no matter what shutter speed, when i engage. is this supposed to be "normal" - don'T get me wrong, i really do not care too much. it'S more, like if this thing is faulty, i'D have to take it back on monday. thanks. greets from berlin reinhard
Advertisement Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Hi junior, Take a look here H to S adapter ?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
erlingmm Posted February 22, 2014 Share #2 Posted February 22, 2014 If the lens you use has an internal shuttter, the S will have to open its mirror first, then activate the lens shutter, then close the mirror. I have the same effect with CS lenses for the S. So, quite normal.

mwilliamsphotography Posted February 24, 2014 Share #5 Posted February 24, 2014 It is normal. I was concerned at first also. Been using it now for over a year. It's fine. - Marc
