The M8 was bought off eBay and needed to have the 6-bit reader fixed immediately, but otherwise it has been flawless. The M9 was bought used in Norway, and works perfectly. Only the bottom plate had some mild brassing. My current lenses are Leica lenses and some are bought used and some new, all work perfectly. I have had Voigtländers and Zeiss lenses, but rationalized a bit and traded in to Leica only. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

For my first digital I got a used M8 off the rangefinder forum, no problems at all so far and I love it When I get an M9 it will also be second hand.
