digitalink Posted February 4, 2014 Share #1 Posted February 4, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi guys, This happened to my M8 the day before yesterday. The RF coupling arm doesn't seem to bounce back to its original position when I pushed it inwards. So obviously when this happens, the focusing patch in the viewfinder itself doesn't move when I move the focusing barrel on the lens. It seems to me as if there's a lack of lubrication or somehow, some spring inside the camera somewhere decides to spring itself elsewhere. Anyone experienced this before? I've just dropped the M8 off to the local Leica store whom will send it over to Leica Singapore and see what the problem is and if they could get it fixed. Else, off the Solms it goes - which is going to take a lifetime.. Just hoping it's not going to cost me a bomb to get it rectified; am missing the camera already.. Oh and BTW, I've googled and searched about this for the past few days but I can't seem to find a solution or an explanation why is this happening or how has it been solved hence this post. Thanks guys.
