grober Posted April 21, 2007 Share #1 Posted April 21, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Dinkin' around with my coterie of dumb, old electronic flash units today, I mused, "What if I try to take a shot with the shutter speed anywhare higher than 1/250th?" I learned that the M8 will NOT fire the flash. So, if in the heat of battle, one misses "250" when spinning the dial, the camera will help you by knowing not to fire the flash. Good design to make up for the clumsy but hurried human behind the viewfinder! Hey all my flashes are ancient and dumb but at least every flash head can be tilted. Would I could say that about any available Leica-branded unit! -g
