grober Posted April 21, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted April 21, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Dinkin' around with my coterie of dumb, old electronic flash units today, I mused, "What if I try to take a shot with the shutter speed anywhare higher than 1/250th?" I learned that the M8 will NOT fire the flash. Â So, if in the heat of battle, one misses "250" when spinning the dial, the camera will help you by knowing not to fire the flash. Â Good design to make up for the clumsy but hurried human behind the viewfinder! Â Hey all my flashes are ancient and dumb but at least every flash head can be tilted. Would I could say that about any available Leica-branded unit! Â -g
