DigitalHeMan Posted January 25, 2014 Share #2 Posted January 25, 2014 There is a large camera store that sells Leica close to the Hilton Osaka. Sorry, can't remember the name, but if you walk past the Hilton coming from the station it is on a street on the left. You could try there.... DigitalHeMan Posted January 25, 2014 Share #4 Posted January 25, 2014 thank you so much for your reply. i will check that store tomorrow first thing. Do you remember its only a store or a store with some repair service? It's just a store I think, but since they also deal in secondhand there is a fair chance they will know where to get things repaired, if they can't do it themselves

I had brought only one lens with me on a short trip and the aperture blades got jammed. Since I could not locate a suitable repair shop - or one that could do the job quickly enough - and smartphones were yet to appear back then, I ended up buying a very cheap (20$ or so) used Russian lens, so that I could keep taking pictures. FWIW, I still have (and occasionally use) the lens...

I find that store and they manage to get my lens back but camera is not ok unless i left it there for a week. So this film trip turned to be another digital trip...I also bought a camera PENTAX Q7 there, maybe spend some money will bring me some good luck. Thx a lot and i will move to kyoto tomorrow.
