Giulio Zanni Posted April 20, 2007 Share #1 Posted April 20, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I rember that Leica used to produce a small cover for the camera flash slot. Does anybody know where I could get one of these? Or the code of the item? Many thanks, Giulio
Advertisement Posted April 20, 2007 Posted April 20, 2007 Hi Giulio Zanni, Take a look here Cover for camera flash slot. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
doubice Posted April 20, 2007 Share #2 Posted April 20, 2007 Giulio, Do you mean the plugs for the PC outlets on the back of M cameras? M2 and M3 used special PC sockets which were different from the M4, M5 and all newer bodies. Which body are you referring to? All the best, Jan
bill Posted April 21, 2007 Share #3 Posted April 21, 2007 If you mean for the hotshoe, I don't know that there was a Leica item, but I have one from a Minox that sits in my M7 hotshoe and another that sits in my RD-1. They both protect the contacts and (in my mind) give a more "finished" look to the camera. Regards, Bill
Giulio Zanni Posted April 21, 2007 Author Share #4 Posted April 21, 2007 Yes I am referring to the hotshoe. There was a small square platic cover on the Leica catalogue about some 10 years ago that used to fit both Ms and Rs. Regards, Giulio
