Tony Smith Posted January 4, 2014 Share #1 Posted January 4, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) My bayonet mount 35 mm f2.8 summaron has no red dot on it. Can anyone tell me if this lens (no 1665628) is one of the batch that can be screw mount or bayonet mount. I believe that some 2000 of such lenses were made. Many thanks

spydrxx Posted January 5, 2014 Share #3 Posted January 5, 2014 The Red Dot may have fallen off, as they sometimes do. I had to replace a couple of mine over the years. Does your lens have a little circular indention where the dot should typically go? If so, yours probably fell off at some time in the past.
