waloszek Posted December 21, 2013 Share #3 Posted December 21, 2013 This what the X Vario tells about maximum f-numbers at various focal lengths in the viewfinder/on the LCD screen: Actual/Equivalent Focal Length: Maximum f-Number 18/28: f3.5 23/35: f4.5 50/33: f5.1 46/70: f6.4 Actually, some data suggests that the maximum aperture for 23/35 mm should be f4, but the camera insists on f4.5 (as dkpeterborough already stated).
