pacovargas Posted April 19, 2007 Share #1 Posted April 19, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) With the 1.33 factor of the m8 it is obvious that the summilux 35 asph can be used with a smaller hood. Has anyone obtained a smaller suitable hood that can be used wht that combination?

lars_bergquist Posted April 19, 2007 Share #2 Posted April 19, 2007 With the 1.33 factor of the m8 it is obvious that the summilux 35 asph can be used with a smaller hood. Has anyone obtained a smaller suitable hood that can be used wht that combination? The only alternative would seem to be a screw-in lens shade for standard lenses. On the other hand, the regular shade for the 35 Summilux works fine with the 28 mm Summicron! wparsonsgisnet Posted April 19, 2007 Share #3 Posted April 19, 2007 I purchased the metal, screw-in ones that are available on eBay. They're cheap and convenient and keep me from failing to take off the lens cap. Got one on the 24, as well.
