What did you use for processing. Finally, what lovely photos, looks like a great trip
stunsworth Posted April 19, 2007 Share #7 Posted April 19, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi David, I've only had a chance to look at the thumbnails so far - slow connection at work - but my suggestion would be to edit them more forcefully. There are a number of very similar shots, and some are stronger than others. I think a more aggresive edit would make the selection as a whole much stronger. Thanks for sharing them. david_choy58 Posted April 19, 2007 Author Share #8 Posted April 19, 2007 Yes, I like the ZM 25 very much. Very nice color for landscape and sharp corner to corner. Definitely one of the best Zeiss lenses around. It got me thinking to get the ZM 15mm even though I have the CV15mm. I shot raw for all of the photos. Didn't use any filters on all my lenses. I think if you avoid the things you know you'll have IR issue, then it's fine. But when you have some people in the pic wearing black clothes, then you can't avoid it. I used Silkypix to processed my photos. This tool produces very nice colors and you can get very nice pix without a lot of work (comparing with C1 and Lightroom). I just did some usual stuff like saturation, contrast, exposure etc.
david_choy58 Posted April 19, 2007 Author Share #9 Posted April 19, 2007 Thanks for the suggestion Steve. I took 600+ pics and didn't have much time to process them (busy with work). As you said, I took some similar shots with different settings to try to get the best results.
