I am using a Leica M-E and have several lenses including an Elmarit 28; a Summarit 35; a Summicron 50; a CV Nokton 50 and a Summarit 90. The same thing happens with each lens. Let's say I adjust the aperture on a lens to f/4.0. When I look at the exif data in Lightroom, rarely does it show the aperture at 4.0. It will show it at something else close but not spot on. It may say 4.2 or 4.5 or whatever. An aperture set at 2.0 may show 2.2 or 2.4. What am I missing? What causes that? Like I said, I am just curious.
