Dougg Posted December 16, 2013 Share #4 Posted December 16, 2013 There's also the Pentax67 55-100mm f/4.5, somewhat heavy but fine optics.
Kostia Posted December 16, 2013 Author Share #5 Posted December 16, 2013 There's also the Pentax67 55-100mm f/4.5, somewhat heavy but fine optics. Well, well... After reading a lot of threads (my practice of english is a bit tired), I have some questions. I have to choose between : * Mamiya 645 55-110 * Carl Zeiss Contax Vario-sonnar 45-90 * Hasselblad H 50-110 which one has the best qualities (Focus, AF, weight, size, ...) ? which one will be the best in comparison with quality/price ? And : did all these lens keep their automatic process (functions) with S2 ?... My project is to use S2 for landscape and street views. Sometimes for portraits and close-ups. Thanks. Holger1 Posted February 11, 2014 Share #7 Posted February 11, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) @Kostia, only the HaBla HC 3,5-4,5/50-110 has all functions with S2.
menos I M6 Posted February 12, 2014 Share #8 Posted February 12, 2014 @Kostia, only the HaBla HC 3,5-4,5/50-110 has all functions with S2. This is not correct. The Carl Zeiss Vario Sonnar in Contax 645 mount is fully functional as well on the S with the Leica S to Contax 645 adapter (similar adapter as the Hasselblad H adapter). All lens functions including full EXIF support are working as expected. I have this lens but did not put any use to it so far (it is large, heavy and slow for people who didn't handle one yet). It seems to be a useful lens, when shooting fast min a studio setup with lights without having to switch lenses or cameras for different framings. So far I prefer a mix of primes instead though. Likaleica Posted February 13, 2014 Share #10 Posted February 13, 2014 I have a Hasselblad 60-120 FE lens on eBay right now. It's essentially "new." I bought it new and tested a few shots, then my dealer told me my Leica soon arrived, so I'm selling the Hassy.
