Pradovit P2000 projection lens

I have a Leitz Pradovit P2000 slide projector. It takes a projection lens with a 42.5mm barrel (not a 46mm barrel). I would like to buy a Colorplan CF or FF lens for it (standard 2.5/90). Several are available on the web, but there seems to be many varieties of lenses with description - some are all metal, some metal plus plastic, different colors(?), made in different countries, some with a "P" or "P2" designation (which I understand needs a focusing sleeve for this projector).

I need advice on which are compatible and what differences there are in quality, if any, among these variations and which to avoid (e.g., some Colorplans state that they are made in Portugal, some in Germany, etc.) so I can purchase an optimal lens.

Second question: The CF lenses are supposedly optimized for "cardboard" mounted slides, but I have heard that they do not do a great job and that FF lens are overall better, even for non-glassed slides. Opinions?

Any advice or recommendation for other sources for accurate information about this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Some years ago I found also a P2000 whithout lens, I got the one pictured on the net and it works verywell.

as the P2000 is an autofocus pro. you do not need a special lens for correcting the bumping cold carton frame dias.

Body dia. : 42.5 (all metal)

Good luck !
