Paul J Posted December 7, 2013 Share #1 Â Posted December 7, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am searching for a flash head that is the size of the 24D, which I love, but has a faster recycle and preferably an external battery option. Preferably with an auto thyristor. Â I have Profoto, Lumedyne and a Quantum already, but these are too large. I am searching for something with a very small flash tube. Â I'm not sure it even exists but thought I'd ask if someone knows of anything that fits the bill.

pico Posted December 25, 2013 Share #4 Â Posted December 25, 2013 I am searching for a flash head that is the size of the 24D, which I love, but has a faster recycle and preferably an external battery option. Preferably with an auto thyristor. Â Such is my dream, too. I envision a compacted 24D with power from a detachable handgrip such as Abrahamsson's RapidGrip. Â If it were not so expensive, I would consider breaking down a 24D to make one.
