GerhardB Posted December 7, 2013 Share #1 Posted December 7, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Grüß' euch!

sandymc Posted December 8, 2013 Share #4 Posted December 8, 2013 Apologies for the English response on the German side if the forum, but my German isn't very good at all. PhotoRaw (or PhotoRaw Lite) will open M9 files. Be aware that for PhotoRaw to import any raw file, it must first be imported into Apple's "Photos" app. Only then can PhotoRaw import it. GerhardB Posted December 8, 2013 Author Share #5 Posted December 8, 2013 Hi Sandy! Thank's for your help! The Problem is that I cannot Import DNGs from the SD-card using the Camera Connection Kit. The DNGS cannot me read and therefor it is not possible to import the files. Greetings from Vienna, Gerhard
sandymc Posted December 8, 2013 Share #6 Posted December 8, 2013 Gerhard, You should be able to import DNGs ok - are you getting any error message? Sandy
GerhardB Posted December 8, 2013 Author Share #7 Posted December 8, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Exactly! It says that the format is unknown.
sandymc Posted December 8, 2013 Share #8 Posted December 8, 2013 Is this the Apple "Photos" app? This isn't by any chance an SDXC card? The camera connection kit doesn't support them at all. Sandy
GerhardB Posted December 8, 2013 Author Share #9 Posted December 8, 2013 It is a SDHC card and I am using the pre-installed Foto. Do you mean IPhoto?
sandymc Posted December 9, 2013 Share #10 Posted December 9, 2013 The preinstalled Foto is the one you should be using. Have you tried a different SD card, freshly formatted in-camera? Sandy
GerhardB Posted December 9, 2013 Author Share #11 Posted December 9, 2013 Not by now, but I will try! Trank you for your assistance! All the best, Gerhard
GerhardB Posted December 10, 2013 Author Share #12 Posted December 10, 2013 Hi Sandy! I am happy now! Your advice to change the SD-Card was great. It works with a cheap 8GB SDHC-Card, but not with my SanDisc 8GB SDHC! Thank you a lot for your help! All the best from Vienna, Gerhard
sandymc Posted December 10, 2013 Share #13 Posted December 10, 2013 Gerhard, Yes - the camera connection kit can be a bit temperamental Regards, Sandy
