cmb_ Posted April 18, 2007 Share #1 Posted April 18, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Photo Mechanic is working towards support for Leica DMR DNG's. Photo Mechanic recently released version 4.5. With the previous version, 4.4.3.3, I was able to see thumbnails of Leica DMR DNG's but not previews. With the new realease (4.5) I could no longer see the thumbnails. I emailed Camera Bits about this. They were immediately responsive and requested I send them a DNG file which was passed on to their development team. Yesterday I received an email stating the developers have fixed the problem and it will be implemented in the next release. They update their product quite frequently. A big horray for Photo Mechanic and Camera Bits! I sent the first email on April 8. Nine days later problem solved. Thank you to Jerry Herbert and the developers at Camera Bits. Now I am hoping that this means thumbnails and previews. I will email back and ask about M8 DNG's. I don't have the M8 but I will try to send them a DNG.
