bap Posted April 17, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted April 17, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just a quick question ...do you experienced guys leave the adaptor for the cv15 on the lens or put it on the M8 body everytime your going to use it? seems like you could just leave it as part of the cv15. sean_reid Posted April 17, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted April 17, 2007 Yup, you can do that with any screw mount lens - leave it as part of the lens. Â Cheers, Â Sean
bap Posted April 17, 2007 Author Share #3 Â Posted April 17, 2007 Thanks Sean ...it seems like a better idea as that is the only lens I will adapt
grdglass Posted April 17, 2007 Share #4 Â Posted April 17, 2007 And, how do you get the lens and adapter off together? As tight as I get the lens plus adapter, the lens starts unscrewing and then I have to take the adapter off as a second step. Does the M8 bayonet mount loosen up with time? DaveEP Posted April 17, 2007 Share #7 Â Posted April 17, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Mine always seem to come off together nicely. Worst case is you screw it back on again. I tend to forget that mine even has an adapter, except when I am cursing the fact that my adapter won't let me self code the damn thing!
Joe Mondello Posted April 18, 2007 Share #8 Â Posted April 18, 2007 My 15, 28 Ultron and 75 CVs each have their own dedicated adapter and they stay put. I don't find the lenses unscrewing from the adapters.
