skimmel Posted April 17, 2007 Share #1 Posted April 17, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) On the Photoshop CS3 site, they list supported cameras for ACR: Adobe - Adobe Photoshop CS3: Digital camera raw file support They don't list the M8 -- is it not yet supported in CS3? I thought it was the same engine as Lightroom (which seems to work well with M8 for me). Or, is it that the Leica files are DNG so that's why it's supported? Thanks. Advertisement Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 Hi skimmel, Take a look here ACR support of M8. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stunsworth Posted April 17, 2007 Share #2 Posted April 17, 2007 No problem opening M8 files in either CS2 or the beta of CS3.

skimmel Posted April 18, 2007 Author Share #4 Posted April 18, 2007 Thanks. Doesn't adobe also have to create some type of profile for the camera too, or is it just a matter of being able to open the files?
Guest WPalank Posted April 18, 2007 Share #5 Posted April 18, 2007 Stephen (the OP), You are mistaken. Scroll further down the page and you will see DNG Native Cameras (support) and you will see the M8 luxuriously listed. Cheers! w
skimmel Posted April 18, 2007 Author Share #6 Posted April 18, 2007 Ah ha! Thanks, I missed that. It's a bit of a strange way to present the info, although I guess they want to highlight DNG formats.
