To my surprise, I can't find which Giottos Aegis screen protector fits the D-Lux 6. Their website is of no help.

Has anyone fitted a Giottos to the D-Lux 6 (or know which other high quality glass protector fits its LCD)? Thanks.

Try searching for a protector for Panasonic DMC-LX7 - same camera. Incidentally, I have had better success with Acmaxx Hard plastic protector. The Giottos glass protector broke on my M8 and.... it was a mess.

Cheers,

I've a D-Lux 6 too however would suggest that you keep the LCD intact.

The reason is that the rear LCD is covered by the AR coating (a new feature not available on D-Lux 5), the same as the AR coating on the Apple MacBook Pro 15" with Retina display. The AR coating can reduce the reflection and enhance a sort of very clear and nice color rendering for visualization.

It will be a pity if you put on a protector and nullify the important function. You may buy a Leica case that fit and protect the LCD quite well, only bit of expensive.

Try ab-madox hard LCD protector. I have one on my V-Lux 30 and it is excellent.

AC-MAXX stands for Maximum Accessories or you could get one through Red Dot Cameras in London.:)

Acmaxx all the way. I have them on all of my cameras without touchscreens, from the M9 and 5D Mark II to the Fuji X100, Ricoh GR and Panasonic LX7. It's a hard wearing protector that gives a much greater sense of security than a piece of glass or thin slip of plastic.
