tjv Posted April 17, 2007 Share #1 Posted April 17, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hey all, I'm thinking about doing some serious work in low light and am wondering what the Fuji 1600iso colour neg film is like? I'd have to import it myself as it's extremely hard to get here in NZ. Can someone post some examples, preferably shots in mixed or challenging lighting? I'd really appreciate it. antiquark Posted April 24, 2007 Share #2 Posted April 24, 2007 I find flickr to be a great resource for investigating film quality. Just type in the brand name and voila, a bunch of pictures appear. For example, a search for superia 1600 gives: Flickr: Search Hope that helps...

ron110n Posted April 24, 2007 Share #4 Posted April 24, 2007 If you can get Fuji Natura 1600 in NZ, it looks better to my taste. The distribution is limited to Asia, it should be available in Nz and Oz. M6, lux 35 f/1.4 aspherical, Fuji Superia 1600 Hope this helps, -Ron
tjv Posted April 25, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted April 25, 2007 Thanks guys, was about to take the plunge and buy a whole lot of 800iso and push it. Problem with pushing here is that I'd have to send it out of town to process and I don't trust people to remember to do it! Examples look gook. How do you find the grain of the Superia? Is it sharp?
