I have always wanted a Leica but they have always been out of my range.  In college I was a very actiive 35mm shooter with a Nikon F3.  Now with a family and 20 years later, it was time to move beyond my Sony PHD digital. The issue was I didn't want the hassle of a bag of lenses, flashes and accessories. At the same time I wanted control.  So now I am a VERY happy owner of a V-lux 1.  I have a V-lux1 discussion group at Yahoo Groups. Please join to discuss our Leicas.  leica-vlux1 : V-Lux1  (Shh....dont tell my wife the Panasonic was $250 cheaper.)  I had to post my parrot photo too. As much as I know the M8 is a great camera, the V lux more than holds its own for a fraction of the cost. Â A gentleman mentioned in some early forums how great the recent batch of Leica cameras are, most of which however, are over shadowed by the M8, and so they don't receive the attention they deserve. I supose there must be any post processing in Photoshop or similar no? Â I found that the nois is important, bur found NeatImage as a plugin and works very well, preserving a lot the sharpness. Â I use the RAW way, but I don't like too much the Photoshop converter. Anybody knows if KILKYPIX (comes with de LUMIX FZ50) is working as well witj V LUX ? zaronita Posted May 12, 2007 Share #13  Posted May 12, 2007 Hello again.  For example: I configure the "noise reduction" High.  I imagine that shoting in JPEG the camera makes a process for noise reduction. (I supouse that the RAW don't has any camera process)  But, in this case, if I shot in RAW and it creates also a JPEG image...
