gautebn Posted November 9, 2013 Share #1 Posted November 9, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) A Voigtländer 15mm Heliar L39 with an M adapter functions well on a M9. But not that straight on a Leica M 240. Exposures might be done. But it does not connect with the live view, display, and the EVF2 finder. Any chance of having that lens connected to LV and EVF2 ? And how to manually connect Voigtländer 15mm to the Leica M when 15mm is not found in the lens detection list ?
Advertisement Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Hi gautebn, Take a look here Leica M 240 Voigtländer 15mm. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Dannybuoy Posted November 9, 2013 Share #2 Posted November 9, 2013 I just set it to the nearest option. The tri-elmar I think that starts at 16mm. Even setting at this the red edge still has an effect. I don't find its as bad as the M9 but it's still very much there
gautebn Posted November 9, 2013 Author Share #3 Posted November 9, 2013 Thank you for that, Dannybuoy. Would you by any chance know how to connect a lens like that to the LV and EVF2 of the Leica M 240? You see the display/EV and the finder EVF2 are only dead or black by this combination. CVickery Posted November 9, 2013 Share #4 Posted November 9, 2013 It's likely it's your adapter. See here: http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/leica-m-type-240/307683-live-view-evf-fail-adaptor.html
viramati Posted November 9, 2013 Share #5 Posted November 9, 2013 You will need to change the adaptor for one without the cut out so that the LED's are covered
