steve_l Posted November 7, 2013 Share #1 Posted November 7, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Optical finders have some big advantages - infinite depth of field, clarity, shows a bit outside of the frame lines...I used one on my Digilux 2...great when hyperfocal focusing, or when relying on autofocus...use the LCD for composing at other focal lengths... Anybody know what finder best shows the 28mm view of the X Vario at typical shooting distance? Since finders usually show less than the actual picture, this is a useful question.... ...does the Voigtlander 28mm finder show actual 28mm frame plus a bit outside the frame lines? Or does the entire view, including the area beyond the lines, equal an actual 28mm?
