First time Poster here, Names Leo

 

Preordered my M240 in July and told I'll get in December. So Im window shopping for Leica glass now and cant wait to be an owner after saving for 5 years.

 

Hope to ask lots of questions to annoy everyone with my noobness.

 

For my own background, I grew up shooting an OM10, then dad got upset with me always taking his camera and taking bad photos, bought me my first SLR twin kit, a Pentax MZ10 with some cheap sigma glass. moved into the Olympus 4/3 system before it got canned for the M4/3 with my first digital SLR, the E510.

 

Moved to Canon with a 7D, a 15-85, a 50mm 1.4 and a 70-200 f4 and never been happier... but I missed using my dads OM10, so I got a cheap OM1 with a broken light meter and realised that the one thing holding me back was slow manual focusing.

 

Someone showed me his M6 and an M9 and I played with them both for about 2 hours and realised that everything it had was exactly what I wanted

 

So here I am - shooting for over 15 years since I was 14... still saving for a Leica... fingers crossed they make mine soon so I don't have to wait another 2 months.
