Used to use on film for sky control. It does not make a thin blue sky look nice. It has to be a decent sky to start. Only works at right angles to the sun. Photoshop is better specially with wide lenses.

 

I continue to use for reflection control generally fall landscapes and water. Tree leaves come alive.

 

If you decide to get one, cheap ones are not neutral grey and impart a green cast on the pic.

 

Far a RF camera, get the Leica swing out one . They are neutral color and work well with the M series.
