Best mode to shoot in auto A S P which one

I will get my new DLux 6 when I arrive back home from work in 10 days time…………………..I have a quick question. What mode do most of you use when shooting the DLux 6? I am planning to take it with me when shooting my new M as a backup camera or for catching a quick picture here and there, so I was thinking of just using auto mode and let the camera do all the work…….what do you think

I shoot almost always in Aperture mode and RAW. However, the D-Lux 6 does a really nice job in Auto with jpegs.

my recommendation:

 

film-modus "standard" / JPEG / programm "P" with the possibility to shift aperture and shutter-time. in special low-light-situation I prefer programm "A". I use 80% "A".

D-LUX 6 will only shoot auto in jpeg. You must use Program, Aperture, Speed, or Manual to shoot RAW files. Some of the Scene settings will also let you shoot RAW files.
