gravastar Posted October 2, 2013 Share #1 Posted October 2, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) One of my gripes with the M9 was that Exposure Bracketing did not work when the shutter speed was set to Manual, it only worked when set to Auto. That made the feature useless when taking image sets for stitched HDR panoramas. In Auto mode as you panned the camera the exposure between image groups would change. The only way to keep exposures consistent between groups was to laboriously set the shutter speed manually for each exposure. So easy to make a mistake and get the sequence wrong. The M Exposure bracketing works as expected in Manual Mode, making stitched HDR panos so much easier. The middle/nominal exposure is as set on the shutter speed dial with higher and lower speeds being automatically selected for the bracketed frames. In Auto Bracketing Mode a single shutter press takes the full sequence and in Manual Bracketing Mode a shutter press is needed to take each exposure in a sequence. When the camera is powered off and then on again Exposure Bracketing is disabled and has to be enabled again from the menu. Bob.
