I am surprised that you can take seriously a review or comment noting that the f4.2 (FF equiv) Coolpix A "beats" the M with the f2 28mm lens :rolleyes:

 

BTW I can find people who say the earth is flat ....

 

LOL, why are all XV owners so emotional? A conclusion that the RX1 with its f2 35mm Sonnar on the other hand gets bettered by the XV f 6 or something or how much again (FF equiv.) on the other hand is perfectly fine. Wonderful, I love it.

If you had read above, you would see I clearly said that I do not agree comparing the x Vario with the RX1.

I have been completely consistent.

 

That comment in the cool pix review you quoted is certainly nonsense.

If you or anyone consider Sony, Ricoh et al to be comparable to or even better than the XV, then why the heck are you looking at this $3000 camera? That requires an explanation.
