Bundestrainer Posted September 9, 2013 Share #1 Posted September 9, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) It's four years ago that Leica announced the M9: 9/9/9 At that time I was interested in photography but I knew nothing about Leica. I started doing photography in 2007 and came to have a closer look into Leica gear in 2010. A few weeks after having done a lot of research on the M9 I made the move from Nikon to Leica and from autofocus to manual focus. It was one of the best moves I've done so far. I enjoy taking photos with this camera everyday. I love everything about it and couldn't be happier - and that's the only reason I'm starting this thread. I think it's worth to pause for a moment and be grateful that Leica still exists in the digital age. Think about the joy you're getting out of using your Leica equipment (or that of any other brand). Instead of attaching a photo I took with the M9 I'm showing a photo a friend of mine took of me (with his Nikon gear) while I was operating my M9. The joy I'm having can easily be seen and felt I think. Thank you, Leica! Welcome, dear visitor!
