I'm new to the forum and I've technically been a Leica user since I was in high school (the 70s), borrowing my Mom's IIIg from time to time; she's almost 83 now and still uses it! About a year and a half ago, I purchased a well-used titanium M6 at Pro Photo in DC; and I mean USED, has a few dings, pretty scratched up and half the Leica name is rubbed off. But it was refurbished before I bought it and works perfectly! It has a "Contact Press Images" sticker on the base plate, which explains the wear. I use either the 50/2.8 Elmar-M (late version) or the 15/4.5 Voigtlander Super-Wide Heliar on it. I also have a screw thread 50/2 Summitar that I'll use occasionally with an adapter; I love the "swirly" bokeh! I'm considering picking up another "user" M body (M4?) so I don't have to keep changing lenses... just a thought. Anyway, thanks and I'm glad to be here!
