sblutter Posted August 20, 2013 Share #1 Posted August 20, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm ordering one because I'd like a new M9 available when the current one requires inevitable servicing. For instance, I predict a new sensor and overhaul will be needed at some point. What sort of turn around times have purchasers of new ones from reputable dealers experienced? Please add country and approximate dates. Thanks! The M9 has become a part of me...

Guest tanks Posted August 20, 2013 Share #2 Posted August 20, 2013 If you do a search of various dealers you will find at least one that has it in stock.

jonogilmour Posted August 23, 2013 Share #5 Posted August 23, 2013 Are you talking about buying online? The M-E isn't in short supply. I walked into the Leica store in Mayfair, London and picked mine up on the spot without a preorder or anything. I think you'll find that buying from any reputable dealer (B&H, Adorama, the usual) it will be pretty quick.
edwardkaraa Posted August 23, 2013 Share #6 Posted August 23, 2013 It seems to be in stock at most Leica stores worldwide, but back-ordered at large online dealers.
sblutter Posted August 23, 2013 Author Share #7 Posted August 23, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Arrived today but sadly with vertical RF misaligned I ordered the tool from Ebay / China - will be interesting to attempt a fix (and change to black from red dot at the same time ) Camera's fine otherwise, don't feel pressed to send it in for such a tiny adjustment I'd been meaning to learn anyway... PS: Adorama, B & H etc all out of stock
Duane Pandorf Posted August 26, 2013 Share #8 Posted August 26, 2013 Arrived today but sadly with vertical RF misaligned I ordered the tool from Ebay / China - will be interesting to attempt a fix (and change to black from red dot at the same time ) Camera's fine otherwise, don't feel pressed to send it in for such a tiny adjustment I'd been meaning to learn anyway... PS: Adorama, B & H etc all out of stock I would not attempt this adjustment without first contacting Leica Service in NJ. They will fix this for free and guarantee a quick turnaround as this is a brand new camera. If you attempt this yourself and don't get it right then I can only assume the Leica Service center would charge you for the repair.
