Advertisement Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Hi Zoomman, Take a look here LEICA X VERIO EVF 2 VIEWFINDER. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
spylaw4 Posted August 7, 2013 Share #2 Posted August 7, 2013 There are separate menu items for monitor and EVF adjustments. The EVF must be installed and activated to gain access to adjust it.
barjohn Posted August 7, 2013 Share #3 Posted August 7, 2013 I can't get it to make the menu items available even with it on the camera and on.
waloszek Posted August 7, 2013 Share #4 Posted August 7, 2013 I answered already to barjohns respective question in another forum. Here is a reply that is a little longer and that I published on my X Vario FAQ page (http://www.waloszek.de/lxv_faq_e.php): The simple answer to the question is that only those menu items are active that refer to the display device you are currently using. If you display the menu screens in the EVF, the settings for the EVF are active. If you display them on the monitor, the settings for the monitor are active. The logic behind this seems to be that you can only change the settings for a device that you are looking at (which makes some sense...). There is one caveat, though. You can use the EVF for taking photos but can set in the menus that the monitor is always used as the display for the menu settings. In this case you will, of course, never be able to change the settings for the EVF. Thus, you have to disable this function at least temporarily in order to be able to change the settings for the EVF. Perhaps, someone knows a trick...
