Hi there guys!

 

I'm completely into film now and I hope for a very long time.

 

Could You recommend to me a very good scanner? (thinking in future books or exhibition not necessary for me! )

 

I've been looking at the Creo IQsmart 3 and the Flextight x1/5 if I can get one for less than 6.000€

 

Seems to be the Creo resolves more DPI regarding MF (For my mamiya 7) it's important a lot

of dpi in 35mm ?

I'd recommend to have, for example, a look at the homepage of this scanner shop for some impressions, what to look for. They offer quite extensive test reports.

 

Good quality scans of 35 mm film can be done with surprisingly inexpensive scanners. Their main drawback, compared to more expensive or industrial strenght scanners is scanning speed rather than image quality.

I've also been curious about the iQ Smarts, but since I was familiar with the Coolscan V, I went for the 9000 rather than buying the pig in the sack, as we would say, and get an iQ Smart. Still I remain very curious to find out how the 9000 stacks up against the iQ Smarts.

the problem I fell in Love with Drum Scanner and finally I will get the ScanMate 11,000 , what a beauty "desktop" solution! Have You seen those scans? Can't be beaten!
