kepstein Posted April 8, 2007 Share #1  Posted April 8, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have just finished setting keywords in Lightroom. Is there a way to find any images for which I did not set a keyword?  Thanks, Ken  ps (I can't figure out how to start a new post in the Adobe Lightroom Forum!). Advertisement Posted April 8, 2007 Posted April 8, 2007 Hi kepstein, Take a look here Lightroom keyword help. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Jager Posted April 8, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted April 8, 2007 I'm fairly certain the only way to check keywords is to actually select an image. You can select multiple images (all those in a folder, for instance) and the keyword box will show all the keywords being used by that universe of images (with an asterick to denote the keywords that only apply to some), but I don't believe there's a way to represent what you're looking for. Â If Adobe ever publishes an API for lightroom it probably wouldn't be hard to write a script to parse the database, but I'm not aware that they have or intend to do so (and, in any case, that would never be an option for the typical end user). stephengilbert Posted April 8, 2007 Share #3 Â Posted April 8, 2007 You can search by camera or lens or date in the Metadata Browser in the Library module. Â Also, there is a Flickr Lightroom site at Flickr: Adobe Lightroom discussion topics where you might ask. Â Steve
blakley Posted April 8, 2007 Share #4 Â Posted April 8, 2007 If you enable "thumbnail badges" in your library view options, photos with metadata tags will have a little icon which looks like the nametag on a christmas gift (white drawing on a small black square) in the lower right-hand corner; photos with no metadata will lack this icon.
