Einst_Stein Posted July 28, 2013 Share #21 Â Posted July 28, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have Zeiss ZM 25mm, and I am quite happy with it. It's a wonderful lens. I won;t hestate to buy Zeiss Zm 21mm even I already have 25mm. Â But when I have my budget ready, I'll get Leica 24mm. I found Leica's lens calibration firmware still makes big difference. I can't have any lens adjustment with Zeiss.

4X5B&W Posted August 3, 2013 Share #23 Â Posted August 3, 2013 Another vote for the 24 Elmarit ASPH.....just a fabulous lens. Â Now available a surprisingly low prices second hand. Â Truly a classic much like the 21 Super Angulon of the 1960's.
JHellow Posted August 3, 2013 Share #24  Posted August 3, 2013 Another vote for the 24 Elmarit ASPH.....just a fabulous lens. Now available a surprisingly low prices second hand.  Truly a classic much like the 21 Super Angulon of the 1960's. .  Let me add another vote for this lens. It was the second I added when I got my M240 and it draws wonderfully, is very sharp to the edges and does not noticeably distort geometry. With the M240 I focus with the rangefinder and frame with the EVF for landscape and architectural shots and it is very easy to do.
Jabberwockt Posted August 11, 2013 Share #25 Â Posted August 11, 2013 The Zeiss 25/2.8 has all the characteristics that people tend to associate with Zeiss lenses. It's rendition is bold and punchy in contrast, rich colors, and lots of pop to images. The 25mm in particular is sharp as a tack in the center of the frame.
