Nick De Marco Posted July 15, 2013 Share #1 Posted July 15, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) My latest blog entry features a short impromptu documentary series I took with the Leica M and 28mm Summicron ASPH at a wine maker's equipment makers shop and factory: Rangefinder Chronicles: The Wine Maker's Equipment Maker I say impromptu because I didn't know I would have a tour of the factory, and hadn't planned to take photos, but luckily had my M on me. It was quite low light so I needed to shoot at 1600 iso often. I was happy with the results. Here are a couple but please click on the link to see and read more. Nick Welcome, dear visitor! 01af Posted July 16, 2013 Share #3 Posted July 16, 2013 What did you do to achieve the nice, laid-back colour rendition? This is not Lightroom's "Adobe Standard" profile, is it?
viramati Posted July 16, 2013 Share #4 Posted July 16, 2013 looks a little like the bleach process effect in 'Nik colorefex pro' but we will have to hear from the horses mouth!
Nick De Marco Posted July 16, 2013 Author Share #5 Posted July 16, 2013 No, I white balanced in Lightroom manually until I had it the colour I like, copy it and paste it on others in series with minor adjustments if necessary, then I add a kodak portra filter in photoshop from alien skin (40--60%) - this is my normal workflow - I add a Tri-X 400 filter in b&w conversions. pauledell Posted July 16, 2013 Share #6 Posted July 16, 2013 Nick, A fine series with the new star on the block. Amazing how photography can be transformed with the use of processing programs. Paul
